The Staff Accountant/Auditor is a full-time, on-site position headquartered in Baton Rouge, LA. This role is responsible for conducting audit and review engagements, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. The position involves analyzing financial data, identifying risks, and providing recommendations to improve financial reporting. Collaboration with clients and team members is essential to ensuring the delivery of high-quality service.

There is possible tax work for a hybrid position if you are interested in both tax and audit.

• Proficiency in Accounting Principles, Financial Reporting, and Auditing Techniques
• Strong Analytical, Problem‑Solving, and Attention‑to‑Detail Skills
• Proficient in Accounting Software and Microsoft Excel
• Effective Communication and Interpersonal Skills for Client and Team Collaboration
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA designation or progress toward CPA is a plus)
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Previous experience in public accounting is required
