Turner Industries Group is looking for a Staff Accountant to join our team in Baton Rouge, LA. The General Staff Accountant will prepare and maintain financial records to track the organization s assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liabilities, and other related financial activities. Non-exempt role;
Reports to Officer, Senior Manager or Executive management at the corporate level;
Performs a variety of routine duties within established policies.

• Prepare and maintain financial records to track assets, liabilities, profit and loss, and tax liabilities.
• Perform routine accounting duties within established policies.
• Support financial reporting and compliance activities as assigned.

• Associate s degree or higher
• One to five years of experience
• Basic knowledge of accounting systems
• Technical proficiency and ability to learn new systems and software
• Strong organizational and analytical skills
• Post-offer drug/alcohol screen and physical evaluation
• Applicant/employee must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of others at the workplace

• Understanding of Accounting Principles
• Working knowledge of Google Workspace
• Analytical skills with ability to organize, prioritize and multi-task
• Perform additional assignments per supervisor s direction

Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience.
