OpportunityJoin as a Tax Senior and become a key contributor on complex personal and business returns, research projects, and year‑round planning. You’ll collaborate directly with managers and partners, help shape client strategies, and see your work make a visible impact—without getting lost in a massive hierarchy.
What You’ll Do- Review & prepare diversified, often complex individual and business tax returns.
- Research federal and state tax issues; translate findings into clear, practical recommendations.
- Assist managers/partners on higher‑complexity engagements and selective review of individual and business returns.
- Support planning & projections for clients; contribute to tax strategies throughout the year.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with internal teams and client stakeholders to ensure on‑time, high‑quality deliverables.
- Elevate quality & efficiency by identifying process improvements and sharing best practices.
- Senior‑level public accounting tax experience with complex individual and business returns.
- Bachelor’s degree (Accounting or related field preferred; Master’s a plus).
- Proficiency with tax software—
Pro System fx experience preferred. - Strong critical thinking and judgment; ability to craft solutions that fit each client.
- Clear, responsive communication and a service mindset—clients trust you to be reliable.
- Intellectual curiosity—you enjoy tax research and continuous improvement.
- CPA or progress toward licensure.
- Familiarity with modern tax research tools and workpaper systems.
- Interest in mentoring staff and contributing to team development.
