Minimum QualificationsFour years of experience in administrative services.
Experience SubstitutionEvery 15 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as six months of experience.

Job DutiesJob Duties and Other Information
- Serves as the payroll leader and coordinator for the section.
- Serves as the Human Resource leader and coordinator for the section. Initiates, creates, and maintains documentation needed for new hires, personnel actions, and HR matters for the Section.
- Coordinates, plans, and reserves any travel accommodations for employees based on Department and state travel regulations.
- Prepares required travel authorizations for approval and completes all expense reimbursements in accordance with Department policy and the LA GOV system.
- Manages and maintains the Section budget for travel, supplies, and operating services.
- Responsible for the management and processing of state property management Section.
- Serves as the Training Liaison leader for the Section. Monitors all Section employee training requirements and issues notices to employees for any required Department training or job specific training.
- Responsible for organizing, maintaining, and purging Section records in accordance with State and DOTO record retention policies.
Compensation: Starting hourly salary of this position is $18.04/hr and the maximum is $35.40/hr.
Appointment Type: This position may be filled as either a probational appointment; a promotion; or by detail to special duty.
