We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Administrative Program Specialist to support the efficient operation of our department. The ideal candidate will provide high-level administrative support, manage program activities, and assist with the planning, coordination, and evaluation of various projects. This role requires strong organizational skills, effective communication, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Three years of experience in administrative services; OR
Six years of full-time work experience in any field; OR
A bachelor's degree.
EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:
Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of full-time work experience in any field. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 semester hours which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience in any field.

Job Duties:
As an Administrative Program Specialist A, you will perform responsible duties related to :
* Manage property inventory at more than 17 physical locations within the seven parish area
* Manage the telecommunication management system
* Review and reconcile monthly invoices for all district locations for the telecommunication management system
* Prepare and submit monthly report for LaCarte Procurement card purchase
* Primary contact for all work orders to OSB submitting, tracking and follow-up for completion

Probational or Job Appointment.
Location:
Capital Area Human Services District's Fiscal Department.
Work Schedule:
9 hours per day Monday - Thursday, 4 hours on Friday.
Compensation: The maximum salary for the Administrative Program Specialist A is $73,632.00 annually.

The advertised maximum amount listed is the maximum salary a person can make while in this title/level over their career and not the maximum amount we are allowed to pay a new hire.
