In your role as an Administrative Coordinator with the Registrar of Voters Office, you will help to administer Louisiana's voter registration laws by maintaining accurate voter rolls and supporting election operations. Experience SubstitutionEvery 15 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will substitute for six months of the required experience.

Job DutiesJob Duties and Other Information:
Operates a busy, multi-line phone system, greets guests as they enter the office, processes incoming/outgoing mail, and maintains a clean and organized office environment.
- Provides administrative support, which includes e‑mail, memo, and letter correspondence; generates spreadsheets; and distributes forms.
- Maintains filing system and contact database.
- Enters data into the computer.
- Processes applications.

Career ProgressionThis position may be filled as an Administrative Coordinator 2 or 3.
Overtime RequirementsFor every election cycle, the selected applicant must be available to work on the two Saturdays during early voting, extended daily hours during early voting, and also the day of the election, which is normally a Saturday. Overtime is required to support other election operations such as the canvass, recall petitions, etc.
