This position serves as the confidential assistant to the Deputy Secretary. The incumbent will provide executive level administrative support by exercising a high degree of initiative and independent judgment.

Five years of experience in administrative services.
Experience SubstitutionEvery 15 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as six months of experience. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 hours, which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience.

Job Duties- Processes sensitive and confidential matters for the Deputy Secretary.
- Researches data and independently drafts responses for the Secretary or the Deputy Secretary's signature.
- Responsible for the coordination and accurate reporting of the 8 state and 8 parish facilities currently under contract via the Governor's Project clean-Up Litter Program.
- The selected employee may be required to serve a trial detail prior to being permanently promoted, or may be required to accept a probational appointment.
The maximum amounts listed are the maximum salary amounts a person can make at each level over their career and NOT the amount we are allowed to pay a new hire.
