This Administrative Coordinator 2 role is the front-line communication of the Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP), directly impacting access to education and support across the state.
This position is ideal for an organized, compassionate, and highly effective communicator who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You'll serve as a core representative on our CCAP Communication and Systems team, using specialized eligibility systems to provide accurate information and resolution to stakeholders.
This role offers a unique mix of direct public service and specialized program administration. You'll be instrumental in ensuring families receive timely and correct information about their eligibility for the Child Care Assistance Program, directly contributing to the LDOE's mission to support Louisiana's children and families.

One year of experience in administrative services.
EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:
Every 15 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will substitute for six months of the required experience.

Job Duties:As an Administrative Coordinator 2, you'll help create a positive first impression for every person you encounter through email or phone. In this role, you will:
- Receive, research and respond or refer complaints related to the CCAP Household Eligibility program.
- Utilize the available systems to research and provide responses to inquires related to CCAP eligibility, application status, and general program related questions.
- Work with CCAP Household Eligibility staff to resolve escalated issues received by email.
- Assist CCAP Household Eligibility staff sort, log, and scan mail from stakeholders and the general public.
- Route emails to the appropriate LDOE contact.
Appointment Type:
This is a part-time WAE position and is not eligible for benefits or paid holidays and has a limit to the number of hours worked (maximum of 1245 hours) in a 12-month period, beginning with the first day of employment.
Work Location:
The person hired for this position is expected to regularly report to the Baton Rouge office.
Work Schedule:
Work hours are Monday -- Friday. Work hours will be determined
Compensation:
The salary offered will be determined based on qualifications and experience.
