Join Our Team at DCFSAdministrative Coordinator 1-4 (CW-SO-Care Connections Matching)This Administrative Coordinator position performs advanced-level administrative and paraprofessional support functions for statewide Care Connections Matching and Permanency operations. This position supports administrative coordination activities associated with child matching, family finding, recruitment, connection resource identification, facility coordination, child placing agencies, and Interstate Compact on the Placement of Children (ICPC) activities.

Job Duties:- Provides advanced administrative support for statewide matching and care connection activities involving foster homes, relative/kinship homes, child placing agencies, residential facilities, therapeutic providers, transitional living providers, and other placement resources.
- Coordinates receipt, tracking, routing, and processing of connection referrals, connection support requests, matching documentation, and related records.
- Supports statewide caregiver recruitment and family finding initiatives through administrative coordination, communication tracking, scheduling, and documentation management.
- Assists with coordinating events, outreach activities, informational meetings, provider communications, and family finding efforts designed to identify permanency connections and placement resources for children.
- Compiles information from multiple sources and prepares specialized reports related to matching activities, recruitment efforts, family finding outcomes, provider utilization, ICPC activity, and placement coordination operations.
- Performs related duties as assigned to support the DCFS mission and statewide Care Connections Matching, Recruitment, Family Finding, Facility Coordination, and ICPC operations.
Appointment Type: This position may be filled as a probational appointment or a job appointment that may last up to 48 months. Job appointments may convert to probational appointments. Also, it may be filled as a detail and promoted within 12 months or by promotion of a permanent classified employee.
Career Progression: This position may be filled as a Administrative Coordinator 1-4, depending on selected applicant.
Work Schedule: Typically, work hours are 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday – Friday. Flexible work schedules are available after meeting certain criteria and is dependent upon the position you are applying for. Some positions require working shifts.
