- Pay Rate: $15 - $18.50/hour (on W2)
- Contract Length: 12 months
- Location: Baton Rouge, LA 70805
- Work Schedule: Monday - Friday | 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Raise is currently hiring a contract team member on behalf of our client. They’re expanding their team to meet growing needs, making this a unique opportunity to work with an industry leader.
OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Data Entry Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately entering, updating, and maintaining data in company systems and databases. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
Responsibilities- Enter, update, and verify data in various databases and systems
- Review data for errors or discrepancies and correct inconsistencies
- Maintain accurate records and ensure data integrity
- Organize and manage files (electronic and paper-based)
- Perform regular backups to ensure data preservation
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed
- Generate reports and retrieve data upon request
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as a data entry clerk or similar role
- Strong typing skills (10 key)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Experience with data management systems
- Basic knowledge of office equipment (scanners, printers)
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
