Barber Brothers Contracting Co., LLC, a road construction contractor, is seeking an Experienced Motor Grader Operator for our Construction Division. The position will operate in both New Orleans and Baton Rouge.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for our industry and have experience working on a road construction crew. The candidate will have intermediate knowledge of asphalt and standard procedures involved in heavy highway construction.

The main duty of the Motor Grader Operator is to safely run and maintain equipment associated with heavy highway construction operations. The position is part of a crew that is responsible for various stages of large construction projects. The position requires consistent incorporation of the company’s safety initiatives into daily tasks.

• Minimum of 2 years experience operating a motor grader.
• High School Diploma/GED.
• Experience working outside in various weather conditions, road preferred.
• Reliable transportation to and from job site.
• Successful completion of pre‑employment background and drug screen.
