We are a rapidly growing construction company looking for individuals to join our team who have an entrepreneurial spirit and are interested in long-term growth potential.

In the estimator role, we seek someone to manage the growing list of potential projects. This position is responsible for identifying and estimating construction projects including all conceptual, negotiated, and competitive bid estimates, and then transitioning projects with the project manager to ensure successful completion of our construction projects. The position reports to the owner, currently has no direct reports, but if demonstrated, the position could build a team over the next couple of years.

Under limited supervision, the Construction Estimator is responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for construction projects from conceptual design through bidding. The Estimator will analyze drawings and specifications, solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing, and develop detailed scopes of work to support successful project execution. Responsible for coordinating with project managers, superintendents, subcontractors, and design teams to ensure complete and competitive bids aligned with project requirements.

• Strong experience estimating and utilizing takeoff software
• Strong knowledge and understanding of common construction documents, drawings, and specifications
• Strong knowledge of means, materials and methods used on construction job sites
• Strong mathematical skills
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
