A growing healthcare services organization is seeking a Call Center Associate to provide customer service support for Long-Term Care and related healthcare programs. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with call center or customer service experience, strong multitasking skills, and the ability to handle sensitive health-related information with accuracy and compassion.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver professional, prompt, and courteous customer service for Medicaid and long-term care inquiries.
- Gather and verify all necessary information from patients, caregivers, or providers to process requests efficiently and accurately.
- Identify and document issues, ensuring timely resolution or escalation to appropriate departments.
- Complete required monthly telephone monitoring and maintain accurate call records in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Use multiple computer systems and windows simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- Adhere to departmental timelines, privacy regulations, and quality standards for all communications.
- Provide guidance on Medicaid-related processes and assist callers in understanding healthcare program requirements.
- High school diploma or GED required; associate’s degree preferred.
- Medi Clear certification or equivalent healthcare credential required.
- Some customer service or call center experience in healthcare, insurance, or government programs.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word).
- Strong multitasking ability with effective time management and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while meeting performance metrics and call resolution targets.
- Knowledge of Medicaid programs, elderly care, or disability services is a plus.
