Part-Time Adult Education Specialist

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Deliver engaging, evidence-based instruction to adult learners.

* Develop lesson plans aligned with student needs and testing results.

* Track student progress, attendance, and performance data.

* Provide individualized academic and personal support to promote student success.

* Collaborate with staff to ensure smooth program operations and student-centered services.

* Support administrative tasks and cross-train in department functions as needed.

Work

* Flexibility to work evenings and occasional weekends.

* May involve travel between program locations.

* Must be able to meet deadlines in a dynamic, student-focused environment.

Required

Education:

* Bachelor's degree in education, counseling, social work, or a related field.

* 1 year of experience working with adult learners or in training/counseling roles.

* Strong communication, cultural competency, and problem-solving skills.

* Proficiency with instructional technology and learning management systems.

* willingness to become Work Ready U certified within one year
