Step into a meaningful role as a dedicated Occupational Therapist, supporting students from Kindergarten through 8th grade for the upcoming school year. In this full-time, contract position, youll help students thrive by providing essential therapy services across two welcoming school sites near Baton Rouge, LA. Working from mid-August through the end of the school year, youll empower learners with the skills they need for classroom and daily life success.

• Valid Occupational Therapy license in Louisiana
• Experience serving school-aged children, especially across the K-8 range
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and staff
• Ability to travel between two local school sites as needed
• Knowledge of developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Passion for creating inclusive, accessible learning environments

• Conducting evaluations and delivering evidence-based OT services
• Collaborating closely with teachers, staff, and families to address students needs
• Tracking progress, maintaining organized documentation, and contributing to IEP meetings
• Adapting equipment, materials, and techniques to meet diverse student abilities
• Offering guidance and education to staff and caregivers
• Ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all students
