Thrive Academy Residential Wake-Up Team

Serving grades seven through twelve, Thrive will provide the students and families of Louisiana with a never-before-seen service – a free public boarding school.

Job Title:

Residential Wake-Up Team

Type:
Part Time

Salary: $35/hour (1.5 hour shift)
*** Up to approx. $4500 per school semester if all available days are worked***

Shift: 6am - 7:30pm Monday - Friday mornings, but may work select mornings

Responsibilities:

  • Directly supervise 10-14 students grades 7 thru 12 wake-up and complete morning routines in their dorms prior to school beginning From 6am - 7:30pm
  • Make sure students wake up on time to have breakfast, get dressed in proper uniform and have time to tidy their dorm rooms prior to the start of school
  • Keenly monitor and track student behavior
  • Ensure students are in proper uniform and moving to and from the appropriate locations in the dormitory
  • Ensure students have cleared from dorm units and head to class each morning

Qualifications:

  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
  • Knowledge or background in working with teens is preferred
  • Strong communication skills
  • Enthusiasm and patience for working with middle and high school age students
  • Willingness to work hard and with fidelity
  • Organized

Accountability:
This position is accountable to the Director of Residential Life and the Overnight Administrator
