Sea Grant Scholar Position
Job SummaryAdvisory and research role for Louisiana Sea Grant including work with commercial blue industry. Provide institutional knowledge, partnerships, and feedback with research needs across the northshore coastal communities.
Job Responsibilities- Provide advice and/or training to Sea Grant on education programs, competitive research projects, and the commercial fishing industries (35%)
- Facilitate coordination between Louisiana Sea Grant with partners and federal agencies like Adopt a Pond (35%)
- Work with director to explore MEP needs. Assist in projects like videos to capture institutional knowledge (25%)
- Other duties as assigned (5%)
Bachelor's degree & 7 years related experience.
