Project Manager, Manufacturing Engineer, Process Engineer

Responsibilities

• Specify equipment for sulfuric acid regeneration unit, including, but not limited to: boilers, compressors, heat exchangers, generators, cooling towers, acid towers, precipitators, converters, furnaces, tanks, and pumps.
• Perform hydraulic calculations.
• Perform heat transfer calculations.
• Create specification sheets for equipment for use in capital project procurement.
• Develop PFDs and P&IDs for new or modified operations.
• Work with Controls Engineer to operational and functional statements.
• Manage, schedule, and coordinate all assigned capital projects.
• Develop, justify, and submit project scopes and cost estimates.
• Develop and submit capital project requisition requests.
• Manage project budgets forecasting and tracking project costs.
• Manage projects in the field during construction (including turnarounds).
• Maintain document control of all project files throughout project duration.
• Ensure project compliance with applicable codes, laws, policies, and technical specifications.

• Must have Bachelor of Science in Mechanical (preferred) or Chemical Engineering.
• Min of 5 plus years of relevant industry experience.
• Must have excellent written and oral communications skills.
• Must be able to analyze, troubleshoot, and solve problems.
• Must have experience in using and developing engineering spreadsheets/calculations.
• Must have proficient multi-tasking skills.
• Must be organized, systematic, independent, and self-motivated.
• Must possess knowledge or willingness to learn basic project management processes.
• Prefer knowledge of AutoCAD and/or applicable chemical process simulation software.
• Prefer knowledge of local and state laws and applicable OSHA standards.
