Site​/Civil Project Engineer in Baton Rouge

Fox-Nesbit Engineering is seeking a qualified candidate to join our site/civil engineering department. The selected candidate will be based in our Baton Rouge office and will perform design duties for commercial site and land development projects.

• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to meet project needs.
• Develop site designs, including site planning, hydrologic/hydraulic design, site grading and earthwork modeling, storm drainage and stormwater detention, sanitary sewer and utility system design, pavement design, and permitting.
• Produce well-presented construction documents in coordination with the project manager.
• Provide site observations and administrative support during construction.

• Registered Engineer or Professional Civil Engineer with 3 to 5+ years of progressive experience in site/land development projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, hydrologic and hydraulic analysis programs (Hydro
  
  CAD, Hydraflow, Express, etc.), Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact effectively with team members, consultants, government agencies, and clients.
• Ability to apply design concepts, interpret governing ordinances, and perform necessary computations with minimal guidance.
