Description
Waggoner Engineering, Inc. is hiring an Entry Level Roadway Design Engineer for our Baton Rouge, LA office to work on a variety of Transportation projects throughout Louisiana.
Your Primary Responsibilities will include
* Performs engineering analysis and design (2D and 3D) for roadways, intersections and related infrastructure, including new construction and rehabilitation.
* Prepares construction plans, specifications, and contract documents for contracting and bidding of construction projects.
* Performs analysis and design of stormwater management facilities for roadway drainage.
* Follow safety rules, guidelines, and standards for all projects.
* Maintains and documents written and verbal communications with clients throughout the development and completion of a project.
* Prepares engineering studies and reports.
* Prepares project design using sound engineering principles, engineering software and tools.
What you'll need
* Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required.
* Passing of the Fundamentals test is preferred
* Engineering analysis in 2D and 3D.
* Advanced knowledge of MS Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Projects
