Role DescriptionArcadis is seeking a Structural Engineer to join our Climate Adaptation and Water Management Team in either Baton Rouge or Metairie, Louisiana. As a Structural Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering engineering and consulting services for projects focused on shoreline stability, flood risk reduction, and waterfront infrastructure resilience.
Role AccountabilitiesConduct structural analysis, design, and construction efforts for climate adaptation projects, including seismic risk reduction, flood mitigation, and infrastructure resilience initiatives. Other responsibilities include:
- Contribute to a diverse range of projects, supporting design development, evaluation of solutions, and construction implementation.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative and sustainable structural solutions aligned with industry codes and standards.
- Support project budgets, schedules, and deliverables to ensure successful project completion within established timelines.
- Support business development, mentorship, and thought leadership as interested.
- Travel may be required for project site visits, client meetings, safety audits, or general planning purposes depending on project staffing needs.
- 5 years of progressive related experience.
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline.
- PE License.
- Master's degree in Structural Engineering from a reputable institution.
- Progressive experience in structural engineering, focusing on infrastructure projects related to water management, flood control, and seismic resilience.
- Proficiency in structural analysis and design software such as STAAD, MathCAD, AutoCAD, and Revit.

The salary range for this position is $90,000 – $120,000, with actual salaries based on experience, education, budget, internal equity, project, and location.
