- Develop civil engineering and land development design plans including drainage, grading, water, wastewater, signage, and marking plans.
- Produce topographic maps showing contours, elevations, profiles, and cross-sections.
- Prepare plan-profile drawings for public infrastructure improvement projects.
- Perform drainage calculations and cut/fill calculations.
- Translate design concepts into detailed CAD drawings for construction use.
- Ensure drawings align with project budgets, design criteria, and CAD standards.
- Collaborate with engineers, CAD technicians, and project managers to develop design solutions.
- Support site development projects including industrial, commercial, municipal, and residential developments.
- Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and Autodesk tools for design production.
- Maintain accuracy, clarity, and compliance with engineering standards.
- Travel to project sites as required.
- Technical Certificate or Associate's Degree in CAD, Drafting, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of civil drafting experience.
- Experience in commercial land development including grading, drainage, utilities, and site design.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Autodesk software.
- Ability to produce detailed construction drawings and engineering plans.
- Strong problem-solving and research skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work within project budgets and deadlines.
- Ability to travel up to 30% and visit project sites as required.
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs and navigate construction sites.
