The Electrical Engineer is responsible for the design, programming, and implementation of electrical and control systems used in industrial and mission‑critical applications. This role requires strong technical knowledge of control systems, PLC logic, and compliance with hazardous environment standards. The position supports both new product development and modifications to existing systems.
Responsibilities- Design, develop, and program PLC systems from concept to completion.
- Create and modify electrical power and control circuit designs (AC/DC).
- Develop and implement sequences of operation for complex, custom‑engineered systems.
- Develop, test, and commission PLC and HMI systems for specialized industrial applications.
- Participate in Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT).
- Troubleshoot and optimize control systems during installation and post‑commissioning.
- Prepare engineering drawings, submittal packages, and supporting documentation.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with mechanical, manufacturing, and field service teams to ensure design alignment.
- Maintain detailed records of projects, revisions, and control logic changes.
- Provide technical support and training to internal teams as needed.
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (BSEE or BSME required).
- Minimum 3–5 years of related experience in controls, industrial manufacturing, or a related engineering discipline.
- Working knowledge of applicable codes and standards including ASHRAE, NEC, NFPA 496, IEC, ATEX, and hazardous area classification requirements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Experience with Allen‑Bradley / Rockwell Automation platforms and Connected Components Workbench preferred.
