Our client, a leader in industrial automation and control systems, is seeking a Senior Automation Specialist
- Delta V to join their team. As a Senior Automation Specialist
- Delta V, you will be part of the engineering support team supporting project execution and system optimization. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.
What's the Job?
- Design, configure, and optimize Emerson DeltaV DCS systems for various industrial projects
- Lead system configuration efforts, including live graphics development and control module setup
- Perform factory acceptance testing (FAT), site acceptance testing (SAT), and oversee commissioning/startup activities
- Mentor and support junior team members, reviewing and approving their work
- Collaborate closely with clients, engineers, and field technicians to ensure project success
What's Needed?
- 8+ years of hands-on experience with Emerson DeltaV DCS, including batch and continuous process control
- Proficiency with DeltaV Configuration Studio, Control Studio, and Live Graphics
- Familiarity with DeltaV SIS, AMS Device Manager, and virtualization tools
- Strong understanding of process control concepts, instrumentation, and industrial communication protocols
- Ability to lead technical discussions and coordinate project scopes with diverse teams
