Director Of Water Resources
Waggoner Engineering, Inc. is hiring a Director of Water Resources. The position's functions will be facilitated through project work. The Director of Water Resources is also expected to perform technical tasks on projects.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Base Salary:
Competitive, commensurate with experience - Signing Bonus:
You will receive a one-time signing bonus of $10,000, payable within 30 days of your start date. - Clawback Provision:
If you voluntarily resign or are terminated for cause within 12 months of your start date, you agree to repay the signing bonus in full.

Services provided in this discipline include (but may not be limited to) planning, design, and construction administration of:
Roadway Drainage Systems Design (LA DOTD required) Stormwater Management Detention / Retention Pond and Outfall Design & Analysis Bridge Hydraulics and Scour Analysis Erosion Control Design & Analysis Watershed Hydrology Watershed Master Planning Open Channel Hydraulics Design & Analysis Channel Stabilization Hydraulic Modeling (HEC-RAS 1D/2D and LA DOTD HydroWIN, FHWA HY-8 and Hydraulic Toolbox minimum) Comprehensive Planning Design of Hydraulic Structures Floodplain Mapping FEMA Regulatory Modeling and Floodplain Management
- Bachelor's degree is required. Master's degree or equivalent is desired.
- Minimum of 8 years' experience.
- Licensure as a Professional Engineer (PE) in Louisiana is a requirement, or ability to gain licensure within 4 months of hire
