In the position of RDA.Metrology Equipment Maintenance Shift Engineer, you play a key role in ensuring the flawless operation and dependability of brand new semiconductor equipment. Your duties encompass:

  • Diagnosing and resolving equipment issues through proactive troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
  • Setting up and fine-tuning parameters across a variety of semiconductor tools to ensure efficient performance.
  • Assessing and championing new equipment technologies, contributing to planning and implementation.
  • Analyzing abnormal tool behavior and driving continuous improvement through data-driven solutions.

We're looking for a committed engineer with a strong foundation in both electrical and mechanical systems. Candidates who are ideal will bring:

  • Solid understanding of AC/DC circuits, including electrical fundamentals and basic electronic components.
  • Strong mechanical competence in diagnosing and repairing mechanical systems.
  • Experience with vacuum systems and related troubleshooting techniques.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematic diagrams and troubleshoot down to the component level.
  • Proficiency in PC applications, including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with semiconductor process flows and related equipment.
  • Outstanding problem-solving capabilities and adeptness in prioritizing tasks efficiently.
  • Comfort with multi-tasking complex projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong time management, organizational, and prioritization abilities.
  • Ability to follow procedures and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Flexibility in job responsibilities and shift assignments, including 12-hour shifts.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across teams.
  • High level of initiative and a proactive approach to solving problems.
