Senior Transportation Engineer - Aviation

Infrastructure Consulting & Engineering, LLC (ICE) is always looking for professionals who want to work in a team‑oriented environment with dynamic people. Remote Status: Hybrid

Position Title: Senior Transportation Engineer/Project Manager

Position Responsibilities:

• Design runways, taxiways, aprons and other airfield projects using FAA Advisory Circulars
• Design landside facilities such as roads, parking, and utilities
• Supervise designers and CADD technicians
• Perform and/or lead civil design using knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Work with other engineering disciplines and professionals in the coordination of the project under the direction of the Aviation Service Director
• Manage construction projects as the owner’s representative
• Obtain permits from local municipalities and statewide agencies

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field with a minimum of 4 years of aviation design experience with detailed knowledge of FAA standards is preferred.
• Senior positions available for candidates with 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in design programs is preferred (AutoCAD Civil 3D, ArcGIS, Microsoft Excel, etc.).
• Ability to efficiently complete assigned tasks with minimal supervision, focusing on client service.
• Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Willingness and ability to learn new job skills.
