This is a high‑visibility role where your work will directly contribute to increasing reactor output and optimizing performance at nuclear facilities across the country.

A typical day in this role will include leading strategic discussions, aligning your team to ensure quality and deadlines are met, while keeping clients informed and engaged. You'll dive into problem‑solving, manage budgets, refine proposals, and identify new opportunities – all while motivating your team to turn every challenge into a win.

• Strategic Impact:
  Power uprates are rapidly becoming a cornerstone of U.S. energy policy, driven by recently passed legislation aimed at accelerating clean energy deployment.
• Career Springboard:
  With the U.S. targeting a fourfold increase in nuclear capacity—from ~100 GW today to 400 GW by 2050—power uprates are anticipated to only contribute approximately 8 GW.

• Leadership & Coordination:
  Provide interdisciplinary coordination for design engineering projects and serve as a technical leader to ensure project solutions and quality goals are met. Manage client interactions and negotiate/control project scope.
• Project Management Excellence:
  Plan, execute, and finalize projects according to established schedule and within budget. Understand project schedules, management plans, and manage staff to ensure requirements are met.
• Strategic Growth & Innovation:
  Work with technical staff to develop winning, highly technical engineering proposals; aggressively support marketing efforts, including identification of new opportunities, proposal preparation, and follow‑up.

• Design Engineering experience with the modification and implementation process, calculations, specifications, etc. in power facilities.
• Minimum of 6 years' experience in the nuclear, power, or industrial industries as an Engineer or Project Manager.
• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Nuclear or Chemical Engineering (or related) OR PMP Certification and 10 years' applicable experience.
• PE license strongly preferred.
• Ability to understand and work with budget and accounting processes.
• Excellent organizational, time‑management, strategic planning, writing, communication, decision‑making, and presentation skills.
• Effective communication skills with demonstrated ability to work across disciplines and teams.
• Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to gain and maintain unescorted access at nuclear sites.
• Ability to travel 10‑15 % of the time; duration may vary from a few days to a few weeks.
