Senior Roadway Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead technical development of detailed urban roadway design projects.
• Perform quality assurance checks on major transportation projects on interstate and state highway systems.
• Act as a technical expert with recognized authority to resolve complex problems.
• Assume some project management duties and interact with clients as needed.
• Supervise work of medium to large staff of professionals and technicians.
• Perform other duties as needed.

• MSCE degree.
• Experience with Micro Station, InRoads, Microsoft Office applications.

• Minimum 10 years of experience in all aspects of roadway engineering design.
• Professional Engineering license recognized by the licensing board (e.g., PE or P.Eng).
• Demonstrated leadership, communication, and ability to work with various teams.
• Experience with urban and rural highway interchanges, intersection design, traffic management, transportation planning, site planning, concept alignments, geometrical layout, CAD base alignment plans.
• Experience coordinating survey, grading, drainage and utilities, and layout of various site items is a plus.
