The Environmental Coordinator will support an operation by completing regulatory analyses, maintaining existing regulatory compliance systems, and ensuring compliance with internal and external reporting requirements. The position will keep up-to-date with assigned regulations and support Exxon Mobil Advocacy staff to drive reasonable rule making and interpretations. Actual job role could vary based on experience and knowledge of candidate(s). The position is located at the supported site.

Advise on environmental and regulatory requirements and collaborate to implement cost-effective solutions. Execute day-to-day Environment, Climate and Regulatory practices, programs, data management and reporting including OIMS; provide training and support to operations, including learnings from incidents. Support environmental business planning, permitting, and environmental impact assessment processes. Build and engage the network to effectively support compliance assurance systems. Identify non-conformances with key Environment, Climate and Regulatory practices and systems, and support implementation of corrective actions.

Monitor compliance with Environment, Climate and Regulatory standards.

Demonstrated knowledge of emissions calculations and methodology. Minimum 3 years of relevant environmental experience. Demonstrated knowledge of Federal & State environmental regulations. Demonstrated knowledge of Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, and Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA). Preferred Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Bachelor of Engineering (Chemical or Environmental preferred). Demonstrated leadership skills. Effective communication skills. Organizational leadership skills. Strong computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Work, PowerPoint, etc.).

Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong detail orientation. Strong business ethics.
