Position: E/I Design Supervisor

Keystone Engineering is currently seeking a Design Supervisor - E&I to lead our Baton Rouge team.

Position Type: FT

Travel Requirements:
Occasional site visits required

Responsibilities include:
  • Supervises and mentors staff.
  • Maintains a competent staff of drafters, designers, and checkers capable of working on multi-disciplined projects.
  • Responsible for orienting all new employees of the drafting resource group.
  • Ensures employees within drafting are properly trained on required software.
  • Responsible for evaluating all employees of drafting.
  • Responsible for salary administration for all drafting resources.
  • Responsible for assigning work and staffing projects with drafting resources.
  • Monitors drafting progress for all projects.
  • Audits drawings on a regular basis for completeness and adherence to standards.
  • Ensures all drawings are properly checked.
  • Schedules "Lunch and Learns" to further educate those within Drafting.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 15+ years working experience
  • Previous project schedule and budget management experience.
  • Field experience, able to walk down project per the client scope.
  • Strong Written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated, creative, organized, and solution advocate
