Our Power and Energy Team is seeking a Full-Time Power Distribution Design Engineering Intern to work out of our Baton Rouge, LA office. This temporary position is seeking individuals currently enrolled in an Undergraduate or Graduate degree program.

At WSP, our interns collaborate with experienced engineers to support the design and development of medium-voltage electric distribution systems, including both overhead and underground infrastructure ranging from 120/240V to 24.9kV. Interns gain hands-on experience ensuring projects meet client requirements, safety standards, and budget and schedule objectives. They also contribute to the preparation of construction-ready drawings, perform system layouts and material estimates, coordinate with clients and multidisciplinary teams, and support projects through all phases of execution, from initial design to final construction.

This internship will be part of the WSP Summer Internship Program. As a summer intern, you have the opportunity to participate in our 12-week program scheduled to start on May 17th, 2027. The individual start date of the internship may be flexible.
