The Sports book Supervisor, under the direction of the Sports book Manager, accomplishes the objectives of the Sports Betting department by supervising Writer Cashiers and overseeing sports betting operations. Ensures sports betting operates in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, policies and procedures and operations are executed in a prompt, professional and courteous manner. Maintains confidentiality of all privileged information. In addition to providing outstanding guest service to internal and external guests.
ESSENTIALFUNCTIONS

- Build guest and team member positive relations
- Participates and conducts departmental meetings.
- Ensure consistent high-quality service to all our team members and guests.
- Ensure all AML & Title 31 procedures are followed and tracked accurately
- Supervises the function of all personnel in Sports book Operations ensuring maximum productivity.
- Coaches, guides and instructs Team Members in the proper performance of duties.
- Administers evaluations, performance reviews and merit compensation within established guidelines. Maintains work schedules for assigned personnel.
- Assists with personnel development including hiring, training and disciplinary actions
- Ensures betting limit guidelines are followed
- Resolve any disputes by following established departmental procedures and working with the state regulators.
- Monitors competitors’ practices and technological innovations affecting the Sports betting industry.
- Remains aware of all compliance and gaming regulations
- Ensures that departmental procedures conform to all regulatory requirements and provide maximum security for the company’s assets.
- Inspects facilities and equipment are available and functioning properly. Informs management of any issues with equipment or needed repairs
- All other duties as assigned.
- High School diploma or GED required
- Two years of supervisory experience preferred
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office software
- Must possess good math skills
- Prior cash handling experience preferred
- Able to obtain a Louisiana State Gaming Permit
- Must be able to work weekends, holidays and nights as needed
