CW Actuarial Intern

• Perform testing of systems output to ensure correct pricing is implemented for each member and benefit options are quoted accurately.
• Perform basic integrity checks of data and peer reviews of actuarial analysis.
• Perform basic maintenance of methods and models to ensure models function appropriately.

• Undergraduate student studying actuarial science or a related field; current enrollment required.
• Cumulative GPA: 3.0 preferred; 2.8 minimum.
• Demonstrated ability and commitment to complete actuarial certifications; credit for one actuarial exam preferred.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel); knowledge of SQL preferred.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to think analytically and present ideas professionally.
• Self‑motivated, adaptable to a changing work environment, and team‑oriented.
• Must be able to work 20‑30 hours per week and provide your own housing in Baton Rouge, LA.
