Teller Floater: Baton Rouge

Teller Floater is responsible for greeting members, assisting with their financial needs, and delivering outstanding member service across in‑person, phone, text, and digital channels. This front‑line position floats to various branches to perform transactions and support lobby and teller operations. Ideal candidates are positive, problem‑solvers with strong cash‑handling and member service skills and can meet monthly sales goals.

• Serving as a member experience concierge for members entering the branch and coordinating lobby flow.
• Performing routine member transactions including deposits, withdrawals, cash advances, loan payments, transfers, and check cashing.
• Assisting members with opening and closing accounts.
• Balancing the teller drawer at the end of the day.
• Supporting ITM (Interactive Teller Machine) operations and serving as a knowledgeable resource.
• Promoting and cross‑selling Pelican products and services to fit member financial needs.
• Performing other job‑related duties as assigned.

• Minimum of 1 year of continuous job experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent oral, written, and telephone communication skills.
• Strong problem‑solving and member service skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

• Monday – Friday
• 8:30 am – 5:30 pm

• Travel may be necessary for this position.

• Based at O’Neal Branch, 2675 O’Neal Ln, Baton Rouge, LA 70810.
• May be scheduled in other departments:
  Video Experience, Contact Center.
• In high‑need situations, may travel to other Pelican branch locations across Louisiana.
