The Opportunity
The Chief Financial Officer serves as a strategic advisor to the CEO and executive leadership team while leading all aspects of the company's financial strategy and operations.
Beyond traditional finance leadership, this executive will help shape business strategy, improve operational performance, support future acquisitions, strengthen lender and investor relationships, and provide financial insight that enables better decision-making across the organization.
The ideal executive is equally comfortable discussing strategy in the boardroom, partnering with operational leaders, evaluating acquisitions, and rolling up their sleeves to solve business challenges.

The executive leadership team has a preference for candidates based near one of the company's primary operating hubs, including Dallas, Atlanta, or Baton Rouge. Proximity to these locations will facilitate collaboration with the executive team and key business leaders. The client remains open to exceptional candidates outside of these markets who are willing to travel regularly and maintain a strong on-site presence as business needs require.

- Partner closely with the CEO and executive leadership team to execute the company's strategic vision and drive long-term value creation.
- Lead the company's financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning processes.
- Serve as a trusted advisor on capital allocation, investment decisions, and business strategy.
- Develop financial models and scenario analyses to support strategic initiatives and executive decision-making.
- Leverage financial data and analytics to influence business decisions and drive operational performance across the organization.
- Provide executive oversight of all finance functions, including accounting, financial reporting, FP&A, treasury, tax, audit, and compliance.
- Ensure timely, accurate financial reporting and maintain strong financial controls and governance.
- Oversee cash flow management, banking relationships, debt facilities, and covenant compliance.
- Strengthen relationships with lenders, investors, and external financial partners through proactive communication and financial stewardship.
- Partner with Sales, Operations, Services, and other functional leaders to improve profitability, operating performance, and enterprise value.
- Develop KPI dashboards and business analytics that drive accountability and informed decision-making.
- Identify opportunities to improve margins, operational efficiency, and recurring revenue growth.
- Provide financial leadership on pricing strategies, commercial decisions, and investment opportunities.
- Serve as the primary financial liaison with private equity ownership and the Board.
- Prepare executive-level reporting and presentations for investors, lenders, and other key stakeholders.
- Lead financial due diligence, valuation analysis, and integration efforts related to acquisitions.
- Support future financing initiatives, capital planning, and enterprise value creation.
- Develop and mentor a high-performing Finance organization while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Provide leadership to a geographically distributed finance team, ensuring strong collaboration, communication, and performance across both onshore and offshore resources.
- Provide executive oversight of Finance, Procurement, and Legal functions.
- Continue building scalable financial processes, systems, and infrastructure capable of supporting future growth.
- Champion cross-functional collaboration and ensure Finance is viewed as a strategic business partner across the organization.
