The Budget Administrator 1 serves as the Budget Office's Financial Information Manager for Louisiana's Department of Children and Family Services in Baton Rouge. This position directs financial information management, analysis, executive reporting, and fiscal decision-support functions, overseeing the preparation and distribution of financial reports, dashboards, and forecasting models for departmental leadership.
Key qualifications:- Eight years of experience in budget development, analysis, accounting, auditing, policy planning, procurement, contracts/grants management, project management, statistical analysis, or financial servi
- Bachelor's degree plus five years of related experience in budget, accounting, finance, or related fields
- Advanced degree in business administration, accounting, finance, public administration, or statistics plus four years of related experience
- Ability to direct preparation and distribution of financial reports and develop fiscal projections and forecasting models
- Experience establishing reporting standards and ensuring accuracy and timely delivery of financial information
