This is an internship at IBM, based in one of its IBM Consulting Future Now Centers. IBM is a global technology and consulting company, delivering deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients. This role is crucial for students eager to help clients solve real-world business challenges by applying finance and accounting knowledge to technology solutions, specifically within the SAP platform, and contributing to the modernization of financial processes.

  Working within IBM's SAP practice, collaborating with experienced SAP consultants, finance professionals, and technology specialists.
• Mission:
  To help organizations modernize financial processes and improve business performance through technology, data, automation, and Artificial Intelligence, with a focus on SAP.
• Tech Stack: SAP, Artificial Intelligence (AI), automation, analytics, cloud technologies, enterprise platforms, spreadsheets, business intelligence, data visualization.

• Support finance, accounting, business, and technology teams in identifying financial process requirements, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
• Gain practical exposure to SAP-enabled finance processes including financial accounting, general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, and financial reporting.
• Assist experienced team members with analyzing financial and business requirements and learning how these are translated into SAP-enabled solutions.
• Apply finance and accounting knowledge to understand how transactions and business processes contribute to financial reporting, controls, analysis, and decision-making.
• Assist with SAP testing, data validation, documentation, issue resolution, and solution implementation activities under the guidance of experienced team members.

• Background:
  Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration with a concentration in Finance or Accounting, or a closely related business field. MBA students with relevant finance, accounting, or financial business-process coursework or experience are also encouraged to apply.
• Experience:
  
  Strong interest and foundational knowledge in finance and accounting concepts such as financial reporting, general accounting, budgeting, forecasting, or cost management. Exposure to finance, accounting, financial analysis, business operations, data analysis, or process improvement through coursework, academic projects, internships, case competitions, student organizations, IBM Skills Build, certifications, volunteer experiences, or other practical learning opportunities. No prior SAP experience is required.
• Skills:
  
  Ability to analyze information and identify trends or problems; structured problem-solving approach; ability to collaborate effectively with teammates; communication of financial and business information; strong interest in learning SAP, enterprise finance technologies, analytics, automation, and Artificial Intelligence.
• Bonus:
