About This PositionThis is an UNCLASSIFIED position responsible for the oversight of administrative and operational emergency transportation of the agency’s Emergency Support Function-1 under the State Emergency Operations Plan.
Minimum Qualifications- Experience with disaster/emergency response, developing, planning, and writing emergency plans for standard operating procedures.
- Experience working in an emergency operations center.
- Outstanding organizational and communication skills.
- Certifications in FEMA/DHS IS 100, IS 700, IS 200, and ICs 300 courses.
Applicants must comply with Louisiana and Civil Services laws, and DOTD policies, procedures, manuals, and directives.
Job SpecificationThis UNCLASSIFIED position requires administrative and operational oversight of the agency's ESF-1 and responsibility for evacuation transportation.
Requires professional-level work experience in planning, analysis, and research.
Ensures development, maintenance, and execution of plans and procedures to perform both functions.
