Two years of experience in administrative services.
Experience SubstitutionEvery 15 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as six months of experience.
Job DutiesAs An Administrative Coordinator 3, You'll Help Create a Positive First Impression For Every Person Who Walks Through Our Doors. In This Role, You Will:
- Perform and coordinate routine administrative activities including records management, requisitions, purchase orders, check requests budgeting, travel, risk management, inventory, mail, communications. etc. (40%)
- Compiles, maintains, and distributes correspondence, publications, and other materials for parish programs. Maintains display board of publications. Prepares newsletters for distribution. Event planning that includes reservations, registrations, preparing certificates/trophies/ribbons, etc. for parish programs. Assists with maintaining websites and social media accounts. (30%)
- Compiles and maintains mailing lists and databases of participants/clientele for program areas. Maintains records of assigned programs and prepares reports as needed. (15%)
- Assists with presentations, meetings, events and workshops. (15%)
- Appointment Type:
This position does not participate in a Career Progression Group. - Work Schedule:
Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday. Some nights and weekends may be needed. - Compensation:
The salary offered will be determined based on qualifications and experience. - Location:
Orleans Parish Extension Office, New Orleans, La. - This position is not eligible for remote employment.
