We're looking for a Housing Finance Specialist 1, 2, or 3 to join our team.

• Three years of experience in housing finance or compliance programs, housing management, or administrative services; OR
• Six years of full-time work experience in any field; OR
• A bachelor's degree.

Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of full-time work experience in any field. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 semester hours which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience in any field.

• Review and process LIHEAP payment requisitions from Subgrantees timely.
• Track and monitor disallowed costs for LHC Energy Subgrantees.
• Ensure that Subgrantees are in compliance with federal and state policies and procedures by reviewing and analyzing services, performance, and projections of expenditures and meeting the energy program's objectives.
• Evaluate and process cost allocation plans, budgets, and budget revisions to ensure compliance with acceptable budgeting and accounting principles, as well as program policies and cost principles.
• Notify Utility Vendors and Subgrantees of distributed payments.
• Respond timely to Subgrantees and client issues, questions, and complaints.
• Participate in appeals by clients and/or Subgrantees and represent LHC at hearings.
