The LSU AgCenter focuses on research, extension and teaching to make advancements that will benefit generations. The LSU AgCenter is one of eight campuses of the LSU System. With offices in every parish and research stations across the state, the LSU AgCenter is committed to serving the citizens of Louisiana. Minimum Qualifications

Two years of experience in administrative services.

Experience Substitution

Every 15 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as six months of experience.

Job Duties
  • Administrative & Operational Support: serves as main point of contact for visitors and incoming calls; coordinate meetings and events held at the station; manage incoming/outgoing mail; monitor office supplies; assist with purchasing and records management; etc.
Position‑Specific Details
  • Appointment Type:
    This position does not participate in a Career Progression Group.
  • Work Schedule:

    Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday‑Friday. Some nights and weekends may be needed.
  • Compensation:
    The salary offered will be determined based on qualifications and experience.
  • Location:

    H. Rouse Caffer Rice Research Station, Rayne, La.
  • This position is not eligible for remote employment.
