Contract/Grant Reviewer
This position is located in Baton Rouge, LA, Office Of Operations Job Focus Area. The Louisiana Department of Education is seeking a contract/grant reviewer to join the Operational Support Services team. This role will serve as a primary contract reviewer for the agency, will support program offices in navigating the complexities of the contract and procurement regulations and processes, and will facilitate the contracting process for the agency from beginning to end.

Minimum Qualifications:
Three years of experience in contracts or grants management, procurement, financial management, or accounting; OR Six years of full-time work experience in any field; OR A bachelor's degree. Experience substitution:
Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of full-time work experience in any field. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 semester hours which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience in any field.

Job Duties and Other Information:
Job Duties: As a Contracts/Grant Reviewer 1, 2, or 3, you will:
- Serve as first-level contract reviewer for the agency
- Provide program office support for contracts
- Facilitate Docu Sign set up for all contracts at both levels of signature needs
- Track and push on contracts that have stalled
- Track contracts that have ended and have not had performance evaluation submitted
Position-Specific Details:
Appointment Type: Probational, Promotional, or Job Appointment. Current permanent classified state employees may be required to accept a probationary appointment, if selected.
Work Location: The person hired for this position is expected to report to the Baton Rouge office as requested.
Career Progression: This position participates in a Career Progression Group. As part of a Career Progression Group, vacancies may be filled from this recruitment as an Contracts/Grants Reviewer 1, 2 or 3, depending on the level of experience of the selected applicant.
Work Schedule: Workdays are Monday - Friday; work hours will be determined.
Compensation: This position has a Special Entrance Rate (SER) of $18.88 hourly, $1,510.40 by-weekly. The salary offered will be determined based on qualifications and experience. The pay ranges for each level are as follows:
Contracts/Grants Reviewer 2 (AS-613)
Hourly: $20.20 - $35.40
Monthly: $3,501.33-$6,136
Annually: $42,016 – $73,632
Contracts/Grants Reviewer 3 (AS-615)
Hourly: $22.73– $40.53
Monthly: $3,939.87– $7,025
Annually: $47,278.40 – $84,302
