Certified Pharmacy Technician

Phoenix Pharmacy Solutions is currently seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician in Baton Rouge, LA!

• Under the supervision by the pharmacist, assist in the practice of pharmacy, in accordance with state and federal regulations
• Maintain all assigned pharmacy workstations and tasks
• Review physician's orders and enter orders into the pharmacy’s system
• Process and fill orders
• Bill and troubleshoot prescription insurance issues
• Clarify prescription orders with pharmacist and healthcare professionals as appropriate
• Help ensure a positive patient experience by answering patient questions and responding to patient requests

• Must be licensed and in good standing with the Louisiana Board of Pharmacy
• 2+ years of recent pharmacy experience
• Experience with Pioneer Rx, Framework
  
  LTC, or a similar system preferred
• Able to type >45 wpm
• Excellent attention to detail
• Willingness to be a team player and promote a positive team environment
• Understanding of workflow processes and have the ability to adapt accordingly to changes
• Flexible and proactive to meet varied patient needs
• Self-Motivated and able to work autonomously to ensure completion of tasks
