Northeast Delta Human Services Authority is seeking a Behavioral Health Center Manager--B to oversee operations within a behavioral health clinic. The incumbent of this position provides both supervisory and clinical services and promotes, directs, and supervises the effective operation of the clinic, ensuring it meets the needs of consumers, their families, and the public by utilizing all available resources. The clinic manager is responsible for assuring the clinic’s continued transition and adherence to the Integrated Care Model.

Minimum Qualifications
  • A master’s degree in a social science, health or human services, or health administration field plus four years of experience in health services, social services, nursing, or counseling; OR
  • A doctorate in a social science, health or human services, or health administration field, or a medical degree plus three years of experience in health services, social services, nursing, or counseling.
Job Duties
  • Work as a part of a treatment team to provide quality care and reduce stigma surrounding behavioral health treatment.
  • Direct, plan, and implement programs serving the outpatient needs of the region’s consumers, including outpatient treatment services, community support programs, interaction with courts, quality control programs, and consultation and education.
  • Administer clinic programs, identify staff developmental needs, and conduct supervisory and general staff meetings to discuss operational factors, billing, personnel matters, and technical problems regarding the clinic.
  • Interpret, implement, and monitor agency policy, providing consultation to clinical staff regarding complex cases, and serve as the compliance officer to manage care.
  • Represent NEDHSA in the community, participate in and organize committees that plan, develop, and/or monitor regional behavioral health operations, and oversee the effective working operation and accessibility of MBHC.
Position-Specific Details

Appointment Type: Probational, Promotional, Demotion, Lateral Transfer, or Detail to Special Duty

Location: Monroe Behavioral Health Clinic

Compensation: NEDHSA is a designated approved National Health Service Corps (NHSC) site. Clinicians who work at NHSC-approved sites are eligible to apply to the NHSC Loan Repayment Program. 2‑year Full‑Time Clinical Practice: NHSC will pay up to $50,000 for an initial 2 years of full‑time clinical practice to clinicians. (Full‑time clinical practice is defined as no less than 40 hours per week, for a minimum of 45 weeks per year.)
