Minimum QualificationsA current Louisiana license in a health services field, health regulation field, or social services field plus two years of experience in hospital or nursing home administration, health services, health regulation, or social services; OR
A bachelor's degree plus two years of experience in hospital or nursing home administration, health services, health regulation, or social services; OR
A master's degree in a health services field, health regulation field, or a social services field plus one year of experience in hospital or nursing home administration, health services, health regulation, or social services.

- Conducting regularly scheduled trainings on the standardized assessments used by OAAS and on person-centered care planning.
- Certifying program competency for support coordinators and support coordinator supervisors.
- Maintaining certification/training records.
- Assisting with revisions and/or development of training materials.
- Providing technical assistance to other OAAS staff, providers and support coordination agencies.
- Developing and delivering other trainings and/or presentations to providers statewide.
- Assisting with monitoring of Medicaid enrolled support coordination agencies (on-site and data review).
- Conducting assessments at home visits.
The ideal candidate should possess the following: experience using standardized functional/clinical assessment tools, knowledge of Medicaid Long Term Care Programs’ rules and regulations (including Nursing Facilities, Community Choices Waiver, Adult Day Health Care Waiver, Long-Term-Personal Care Services and the Program for the All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly), proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.).
