Server​/Bar Server

We are hiring experienced and customer-focused Server / Bar Servers to work at a variety of venues including casinos, private events, banquets, and special functions in the Baton Rouge area. This position plays a key role in delivering exceptional service in fast-paced, high-energy environments.

This is a temporary, event-based position offering competitive pay, tips paid daily, and flexible scheduling around exciting local events.

Key Responsibilities:

Guest Service: Greet and engage with guests in a friendly, professional, and timely manner.
Order Taking & Delivery: Accurately take food and beverage orders; ensure prompt, correct delivery.
Serving: Serve food and drinks to guests in casino, banquet, and event settings.
Cash Handling: Process cash and credit transactions in accordance with venue policies; manage tips responsibly.
Cleanliness & Setup: Maintain cleanliness of service areas; assist with event setup, restocking, and breakdown.
Compliance: Follow all local alcohol service laws and venue policies; check IDs as required.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with bar, kitchen, and event staff to ensure seamless service.
Problem Resolution: Address guest inquiries and concerns professionally; escalate issues as needed.
Policy Adherence: Comply with all company, venue, and safety guidelines.

Requirements:

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must possess a valid ATC Responsible Vendor Card (verified through LAATC system).
• Minimum of 6 months of serving or bartending experience in event, banquet, or hospitality environments is required.
• Background check and drug screen required for casino assignments.
• Strong communication and customer service skills with a professional and energetic demeanor.
• Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, high-volume environments.
• Availability for evenings, weekends, holidays, and flexible event schedules.
• Physically able to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs.
