The HT Group is excited to partner with a rapidly growing Calibration and Testing Services company in their search for an HR Operations & Talent Acquisition Specialist to join their team in Baton Rouge, LA on a direct‑hire basis. This individual will play a key role in supporting HR operations and recruiting efforts across a multi‑state, multi‑site organization. The ideal candidate brings 3+ years of experience in HR coordination and talent acquisition support, along with a strong track record of thriving in fast‑paced, collaborative environments.

Experience with HRIS platforms such as ADP, Workday, or Paycom is highly preferred. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing organization that offers long‑term career growth and advancement potential for a proactive, driven professional.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee end‑to‑end recruiting coordination, including posting roles, reviewing resumes, scheduling interviews, conducting initial screens, and preparing offer documentation
  • Facilitate pre‑hire requirements and onboarding workflows to ensure a seamless first‑day experience
  • Act as a key contact for incoming employees and help guide them through orientation and onboarding milestones
  • Maintain and update employee data within the HRIS, including processing new hires, changes, and status updates
  • Provide support for benefits‑related questions, employee inquiries, and compliance documentation
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with Payroll, IT, Benefits, and Operations to execute employee lifecycle changes
Key Requirements
  • 2–4 years of hands‑on experience supporting HR operations, talent acquisition, or related administrative HR functions
  • Working knowledge of HRIS systems such as ADP, UKG, Paycom, Workday, or comparable platforms
  • Highly organized with a keen eye for accuracy and strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to juggle competing priorities while handling sensitive and confidential information with discretion
