We are seeking a detail-oriented and people-focused HR Administrator – Talent Acquisition & Onboarding to support our growing organization. This role plays a critical part in creating a positive candidate and new-hire experience while ensuring HR processes are accurate, timely, and compliant. This position is ideal for someone early in their HR career who is eager to gain real, hands‑on experience, expand your skills, and grow your career in a supportive environment.
You will work with an experienced and friendly HR team who will value you and invest in your development. This position is eligible to work remotely one day per week after training is completed.
In this role, you’ll serve as a key operational partner within HR — helping ensure our recruiting, onboarding, and employee processes run smoothly, efficiently, and in alignment with company policies.
Talent Acquisition Support- Coordinate and administer the end-to-end recruiting process from requisition through offer stage
- Partner with hiring managers to ensure job postings, candidate communications, and interview scheduling are handled promptly and professionally
- Manage candidate workflow in the applicant tracking system to ensure accurate documentation and compliance
- Assist with candidate sourcing efforts using job boards, social platforms, and internal tools
- Prepare offer letters and facilitate pre-employment processes including background checks and new hire documentation
- Track recruiting activity and maintain basic hiring metrics to support workforce planning
- Lead and coordinate the onboarding process to ensure a seamless transition from candidate to employee
- Facilitate new hire orientation sessions and serve as a welcoming, knowledgeable point of contact
- Ensure all required documentation, system setup, and compliance requirements are completed timely and accurately
- Conduct structured new hire follow‑ups to support engagement and early retention
- Continuously evaluate onboarding processes and recommend improvements to enhance the employee experience
- Assist employees with benefits enrollment and general benefits‑related questions
- Support annual open enrollment planning and communication efforts
- Coordinate documentation and tracking for leave programs including FMLA, short-term disability, long-term disability, and ADA accommodations
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with applicable regulations
- Coordinate offboarding activities including final documentation, system updates, and benefit communications
- Conduct exit interviews and assist in tracking trends or feedback themes
Ensure departing employees receive accurate information regarding final pay, COBRA, and retirement benefits
- Maintain accurate employee data within HRIS systems
- Assist with HR reporting and audits as needed
- Respond to routine employee inquiries in a timely, professional manner
- Support policy communication and adherence across the organization
- Help identify process improvement opportunities within HR operations
- Assist with employee engagement initiatives, recognition efforts, and company events
- Contribute to creating a positive, responsive HR presence throughout the organization
- 1–3 years of experience in HR, recruiting coordination, or administrative support preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Professional, friendly, and service-oriented communication style
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Comfortable working in HR systems (UKG experience a plus) and Microsoft Office
- Self-starter who can manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
