Regulatory Compliance Specialist, Talent Manager

Louisiana Public Broadcasting (LPB) is seeking an experienced HR Analyst A/B/C or Human Resources Specialist to support comprehensive HR operations from recruitment through offboarding.
This position serves as the first point of contact for the HR Department. It is responsible for recruiting in LA Careers, processing personnel actions in LaGov HCM, payroll auditing and reconciliation, benefits and FMLA administration, Workers’ Compensation coordination, and monitoring compliance with State Civil Service Rules. The role also assists the HR Director with FCC and EEO compliance initiatives.

- Three years of human resources experience; OR
- Six years of full-time experience in any field; OR
- A bachelor's degree.
Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of full-time work experience in any field. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 semester hours which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience in any field.

Job Duties- Oversee full-cycle recruitment and ensure compliance with State Civil Service Rules
- Process and audit personnel and payroll transactions in LaGov HCM
- Administer benefits, FMLA, Workers’ Compensation, and retirement programs
- Monitor Performance Evaluation System (PES) compliance and reporting

The salary offered will be determined based on qualifications and experience. Applicants that possess experience greater than the minimum qualifications may be considered for a salary higher than the minimum hiring rate utilizing State Civil Service Rule 6.5(g). - NOTE:
